    ya same think with mine big improvement over the electric, i noticed you have some big gaps in the radiator to core support, if you use foam or something on those gaps you may drop temp even more and quicker.

    That and also if I remember correctly the bolt heads are about 70% on the flat mount with the rest off the edge. They were slotted mount holes.

    Seems like it would work. But when the engine cools a lot of the stuff in the filter might just migrate back towards the t-stat as the coolant contracts, better than nothing I guess. I was thinking on a first start up of just using screen material around the top hose barb and then slip the hose...

    Might just be the radiator. The stock ones with a hi effeciency core seem to cool as good or better than the universal aluminum ones. Holley carbs usually run rich at off idle and cruise.

    Naw 195, 200 degree engine temp is fine! What you need is a cool intake charge, no heat crossover, heat insulator under carb, ram air system

    Most brands are close, even the house brand. there are only a couple plants that produce antifreeze. Get whatever you like But drain and refill every two to three years thats the key to a clean system.

    I would use the 180. On break in it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a big box fan right in front of the radiator or grill. It will run hotter on break in

    fan speed on Hayden 2765 any problems?

    ya i have used the jag fan, its made for a plastic 8 blade fan. my car never overheated but it did creep up at idle on hot 85 + days to maybe 215*. if that's all that fits than that is all you can use. I tried a couple different brands but they all were weak with my 5 blade 18" aluminum fan.

    Take a square sheet of 120 or so sand paper lay it on a flat surface like a glass table. Then while holding the housing from the top use light down presure and make figure 8's on the paper, this will sand off the chrome and insure a flat bottom. May take a full 5 to tem min to get all chrome off...

    I had that jag fan on my 383 roadrunner, it works but it doesn't spin as fast, it's made for a small dia 8 or 10 blade plastic fan.
