    Doug's Headers Install on 4spd 66 Valiant

Great job Dave!!! Nice write up with good attention to detail with the photographs. I just finished my complete TTI installation on my car. I'll have a (much less polished...)article showing what I went through. Headers. Sheeesh! :thebirdm:

    Dougs or TTI Headers?

Not to hi-jack this thread, but hopefully I'll be done with my TTI oddessy on my `68 Barracuda this weekend. I'll have a full photo essay on the entire miserable, frustrating, gut wrenching experience..... But they do look & fit great. Once they're in....

    Need Some Advise

I'd say offer less than $5K, but don't walk away..... these cars are not getting any cheaper or easier to find. It's a factory V-8, 4 Spd, w/ AC. What more do you want? So what if it's not an S. Plus it seems like a solid car to begin with. Like others have mentioned, crawl under it and check...

    Am I Nuts...........?

Sorry Keith... another vote to leave them off. Doesn't "fit" with the rest of your car.

Updated SPITFIRE HEADER INSTALL 63-66 A-body

Great installation thread Dave! They look like a good alternative to TTI's.... And as for the open headers, if you get pulled over just point out the next SUV that rolls by with 24" wheels and an 8 million watt stereo pumping out pure crap and ask why THAT'S ok? :-D

Check out my vintage overflow tank!! Super Rare!!!

This is ANOTHER one of those great posts I love to see from you guys !!! Just like Jerry's how-to on the wiper seals, our friend here MoparBrit (I really wish you guys would put your names in your signatures....) gave a very accurate description. When explaining something, you can *almost*...

Altered Wheel Base 63 Dart pics

Wow! Talk about a flashback.... Check out the IMC logo behind the front wheels! That's a LONG out of business model company from the 60's! Nice touch! That car rocks!

    Early "A" driveshaft safety loop

Cut that puppy in half, rotate it 180 degrees, and mount it to your pinion snubber mount. Now it looks like a better rear driveshaft safety hoop! I perfer the floorpan mounted hoops. The one that hangs off of the crossmember just looks like a harmonic vibration waiting to happen on a highway...

While I'm a big fan of Steve's, why the hell does he want to move out HERE? I wish I could go out West!

new addition to the mopar family

You mentioned the car Tuesday night, great to see pictures. A car in that condition would be IMPOSSIBLE to find out here on the east coast. Good luck with it! Looks like a great driver. Or do we have plans for this one? :evil5:

    Some updated pictures.

Man... looks like your sweating every detail on this build. AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!! Have you fired it up yet? I want to know how the Pro-Max modifications perform. I also see you have their -6 fuel line set-up too. I just realized that's my next $150 I'm going to be spending on my car as I need to...

TTI headers - anyone got them installed?

Hmm... I just read a few things that made me decide to build an engine dolly. I'm running a Lakewood scatter shield and have aftermarket valve covers. Looks like I'm doing a full mock-up before I have to wrestle everything in! Thanks Dave! BTW: Looking at your restoration album is bumming ME...

TTI headers - anyone got them installed?

My TTI system is in transit as we speak (I hope....). I'm looking forward to seeing (and touching....)them REAL soon. Although I'll probably break in the engine with the old POS Hookers since I don't want to chance burning the finish. I knew I was buying them for 4 months but it took me forever...

    Early A's getting pricey

I get compliments all the time on my beater `74 Dart, with people asking me if it was for sale on 2 occasions. Like previously mentioned, with the insane prices being paid for B's & E's it's just a matter of time. I just can't imagine whats going to happen when people realize how sexy the...

    Got my carbs done.

Thanks Lee.... now I have a GOOD reason to drop another couple of hundred on my car. :| All kidding aside, the ProMax mods you did are what I want to do to mine. Thanks for posting the info.
