    Project`67 Dart GT 340 A500

always nice to have spare parts. I've got even 48RE Internals I could use in the OD, but don't think it needs a 6pinion steel planet. Might just update from the original 4 to a 5. Looking good, keep improving it.

Anyone know of a close matching passenger side mirror for these?

Walker434, any shots of how yours is mounted. Sometimes, I don't care for it up high, and with my shift light being the backlighting, it's very easy to see the color change.

And it never ends. Waiting for next summer, maybe sooner, to do the Mustang rotor conversion to get the 15's up front, and the A-500 most likely goes in too. Right now its driving time, and no time to be down for changes.

Magnafuel setup and regulator. Installed 1/2 bulkhead fitting in tank for return. 5/8 feed to secondary 10micron filter, then dual feed 3/8 line regulator to carb. Currently set at 6psi, and everything seems happy.

Here's a before shot of driving with the bright LED backlight. Hooked up an Autometer dimmer and I still need to take a night driving shot.

    4bt 72 Dart

Thats an 800lb motor, and a 225lb transmission. Yikes. I wouldn't trust the frontend to hold that up forever. Ever consider a VW TDI/Toyota 5 speed trans. Still a tall motor, weighs in at 375 lb too. Did one of those in a 94 Toyota truck. Total weight was 3650, and the truck netted 26-30mpg...

Other than the drag radials and the tach on the dash, its very stock looking. Once I mention whats under the hood, it catches people by surprise. The exhaust tone isn't necessarily loud, but a slightly intimidating lope coming out of the pipes, telling you this motor is nowhere near stock.

The radiator is a stock tank with a true brass 3-core 5/8 tube unit built by a local shop here near me. Still cost over $500, and have had to pull it 2 times to fix pin hole leaks where he stretched the tanks to fit the core. Factory shroud with a clutch fan, and it does a really good job of...

Curits, a local guy that does awesome interior work knocked out the headliner, and a few minor interior pieces 1350 yokes on the 904 and the 8-3/4. No cutting corners here.

Never really introduced myself, but have been a member here for a while. Bought this 71 here in Phoenix on CL, stock build freshly painted and interior mostly done. Spent way more than I originally budgeted, but I wanted it built to what I wanted, not fitting someone's mold of what it should...

For your 46RH. Check out this controller for OD/LU on 4speed Dodge autos. I have one I'm doing on a 72 Chevy C/20 4x4 with all Dodge running gear(Cummins/47RH/NP241). Wait, this is Rick H right. I know you, dodge diesels over in Waddell. Heck, I'd come your way to check out the cars. I'm almost done with my 71, so a small trek down the road to where you are is no problem. I remember Chris telling me about this 60 you picked up.

The cork gaskets work fine without any glue. Make sure the pan surface is very straight, and don't over torque the bolts. Heck, take a straight edge to the trans case and confirm its flat too. I use these all the time, without leaking, and most times its due to slight warpage of the pan because...
