1/2 spacer for 5x4 wheel pattern

I would not use a 1/2 thick spacer on anything that I run. I have seen too many folks lose a wheel and really make a mess!! I would instead put on a offset shackle kit from Mopar or Dr, Diff.

Be sure you buy a quality billet spacer not a Chinese cast piece. A hub centric would be best on that big a spacer. I never go past 1/2 inch myself. Not trying to talk you out of a sale but I do not want anyone ever to get hurt like I did when I hit the Christmas Tree.

I have 7 inch and 8 1/2 inch pairs in nice shape off my race cars for $375 a pair which I believe is a bargain for nice wheels

I have a couple dozen in back of shop/ By memory = 3 5/16 and 4 7/8 (Might be 4 15/16) Nothing anywhere close to what you are looking for. Cragar Super Tricks came 3 1/2 and 4 1/2. Bob De Vor who ran Centerline would not make custom back spacings even for the sponsored Racers so I do not think...

    Will it fit thread

I have run a Billet Wheel spacer (NOT Chinese cast junk) with longer wheel studs and longer lug nuts that go thru the entire wheel and most of the spacer. This would hedge the problem and I have done that even on my 800 HP+ Scamp (Got to finals in Pinks All Out) which is similar in 1/4s to you...

    Will it fit thread

Well, I never was aware of the 8 1/4 being narrower than the 8 3/4 in A bodys. I thought that they were both around 56 1/2 drum to drum. However, I am a strictly a Drag Racer and not a restorer. Appreciate the information! How much narrower is it?

    Will it fit thread

The offset shackle kit is an easy deal. Hardest part is rewelding spring pads which is simple for any welder. Just do not get housing smoking hot (use wet rags) or it may warp. Next option: Calvert Racing makes a narrow one piece spring that would increase clearance on tires. I used it on my...

    Will it fit thread

I think you will fine with anything up to L60 x 15 as those are a perfect backspacing on my Demons and Dusters and worked OK on my Swinger 340 which has a bit small rear 1/4s. If too close buy an offset shackle kit from Dr. diff to get a bit more space (I think about 3/4 of an inch. My...

Mancini Racing Super Stock Rear Wheel Size.

If that is factory 68 superstock Dart those were the original fenderwell produced on that car. Most of those SS/B cars ran 14 x 32 Slicks as I recall but some ran a 12.2W x 31.25 if my memory serves. I have owned 3 of them and one was brand new. I believe someone on this site has mentioned...

72 dart front runner sizing ?

The more Back Spacing you run = the more clearance you will have Try to find 2 3/8 or more Back Spacing not 1 3/4 o 1 7/8

72 dart front runner sizing ?

We trim the front edge of the fender and make our own fender strut = It is easy we rum 29 1/4 or 28 tall front runners with the nose very low on bars.

Rims/ Wheels for an early A body

I ran 15 x 7 Centerlines with 4 and 7/8 Back spacing on my 64 Dart with a 28 x 9 Radial Slick I did roll slightly the ft. of bottom of Fender for that tall a tire. I still have the Centerlines = $225.
