    WIDEST TIRE?

I am thinking a 215 might be doable as is. The early b body rear (flange to flange) is 55". I'm assuming you had a 7.25 in there originally. That would add .9" to each side. I don't know which wheels you switched to with the addition of the BBP b-body rear but just take some measurements and...

Matching a Hub Cap to the number on the Broadcast Sheet

@eeka440 ... so where does your disagreement come in here?
  5. GTXperience

    Will these wheels work?

I agree with both of the above. 15x7s will most likely fit with the right BS but I think even with that being said, it might be a tad bit easer to work with the 6s. GL.

    Tire options limited------------

That 245 should be fine. There might be a slight bowing on the sidewall but nothing to be concerned with.

Matching a Hub Cap to the number on the Broadcast Sheet

Exactly. I have an extra set of the 24s and was just going to say that the covers in the top picture are the correct ones. The nice thing with caps, is that you can swap them quickly and get a whole new look for your car.

    Close to stock 70 Swinger

I'll give it a shot. I had 205/70s on 14x5.5 steelies all the way around on my 71 Swinger. Unless someone else corrects me, I think you get away with that (or even a 65 series) with your 4.5 rims with a little sidewall bulging. For the fronts, you can consider 175-195/60-65/14. This is if...

Rear tire size needed for 340 stroker?

I'm replying to my own post to reiterate that every A-body (and every model ... in this case - Dusters) are NOT all going to have the same clearances in the rear. As mentioned above, Ma wasn't known for perfectly centering her rearend assemblies. Some people are going to be able to get away...

Rear tire size needed for 340 stroker?

As I was saying above, they move /offset the springs inboard .8" (unless they have changed that offset in the last x amount of years).

Rear tire size needed for 340 stroker?

Trying to figure out what tire size to use is just one of many components that need to be figured out when building/setting up a car. I'm not saying that you're putting the cart before the horse but all of the sub-assemblies should be taken into consideration before making changes/purchases (to...

    Back space question

As sedan mentioned, the Duster has more clearance back there than other a-bodes. I have seen many get a 275/60/15 under there with ease. Your fitment will depend on several things (many that were already mentioned). Ex: rim size & offset, tire size (and sidewall bulging .. if any) and the one...

10 year old tires ok for highway driving?

I, also, am not a fan of blow outs. Here's mine on H101 late last year doing about 70 when it let go. Blowouts = zero fun.

You may want to think twice about 16" (and maybe 17") rims and look into tire offerings for those sizes.

    rally wheel size

As mentioned above, the tire size you plan on running should fit wo/any mods but after seeing the pic, I am wondering what the backspacing is on the wheels and also wonder if the rearend assembly is relatively centered. Were you only rubbing on one side or is it just as tight on the other side...

    17 and 18 wheel combo

I am going to have to agree with the general consensus here. Although you are probably real excited to get back home and work on the '74, take into consideration that Ma Mopar didn't have the best record when it came to centering rear axle assemblies. This, plus the fact that you are going...

Do 13-inch wheels and tires have any value?

I was going to say that they would be good for rollers but they are in really nice shape (incl. the hubcaps). and someone may want to use them at a show.
