I just turned them back in and under the car to the rear.

Just running the pipes out the back under the bumper will quiet it down a lot. If the exhaust dumps under the car, it will resonate inside the car. George

Manifolds look similar to the ones on my 90 Dodge truck with 318. Good idea using manifolds instead of headers. I'll have to remember that! George

The pass side manifold went right in on my 340 Dart, but I had to jack up the motor to get the drivers side manifold in. Had plenty of clearance for the pass side. George

I used Calyx coating on my manifolds. Holds up OK unless you wet them. It is water soluable. Easy to reapply, though. I didn't use any gaskets under my manifolds, and I don't think the factory did either as far as I know. George
