    Lebanon valley ny

Doug, I have no way to get the car there buddy. The pig has 456 gears in it, and it's 115 miles each way, 90% of which is highway. I don't have the scratch to rent a trailer, and my truck doesn't have a hitch anyway. We'll be there in my truck as spectators again, but I'd love to hang out in the...

    Lebanon valley ny

I wish I could make it. My next trip to the track MIGHT be Sat. Aug. 11 - Open Test & Tune, NETO, Dover Race Warm-Up & NENDRA. I went last year, and my son and I loved it. We're both "old school" and there were a lot of really nice older cars there.

    Lebanon valley ny

Well, you'll have to look at her because she's the one who gives you the tickets and puts the wrist band on you, and makes change. I don't think you'll look natural doing all that while looking the other way! LOL George

Gary, They sell fuel at the track. VP if I remember right. Pump station is just past the staging lanes. Last time I went through tech there they didn't go TOO crazy looking at the car, BUT.....I would prefer they did, especially if it's a new car, or a car new to me. If you pit in the back...

    big block rocker arms

Some of these guys sure can be harsh...... I am a former (current?? I like all of the Big 3) Chevy guy as well, and although the Chevy is less expensive to build, the Mopar will run SO much better, and is MUCH easier to tune, and is less fussy. Just my experience. Hope to see you around...

    Motor Plate/Water Pump Leak Issue

Perhaps by incorporating the head accessory holes into the plate, you will reduce the amount of twisting movement the engine was experiencing and it will last. You have removed some leverage from the engine by doing so. I think you got it this time. Good Luck!! George

    Motor Plate/Water Pump Leak Issue

Jeff, does it leak when it's first assembled, or does it hold tight for a while then start to leak after a while? If it holds for a while after assembly, I would LocTite the WP bolts in place and see how that goes. Good luck buddy. George

    chain

A "torque chain" is old school! I ran a chain in my old Vette for years until I put a Moroso solid mount on the driver's side. Nothin wrong with a chain. Thats a trick from the 60's.

My 69 Cuda featured in Mopar Muscle Retro Magazine!!!

Post some pics of the car on here. I'd love to see it. I don't subscribe to the magazine, and doubt I'll ever find it on the rack. George

Where do you folks attach your line lock button?

I used a spare flasher switch from another Dart, and mounted it in my dash next to the wiper switch. A casual glance inside and it looks like it's supposed to be there. Flip it up for "locked" and down for normal driving. I find it hard to hold the line lock button down with a 4 speed and...

    fenderwell headers

I cut my Hooker Fenderwells up, made the necessary modifications to the pipes, welded them back together. I have a 27" tall front tire that won't hit the headers now. Car has a slight raised ride height, but I like em that way. Fenderwell headers are COOL! George
