    where is #1??

Follow the plug wire from the driver's side forward plug back to the cap. The tower that it plugs into is #1. If the wires are off the car, you can always turn the engine with a socket on the crank bolt till it gets to TDC on compression stroke. Hope this helps.

    Leaking windshield wiper pivots

I bought that same kit for my 69 Dart, but I thought it was DMT; Detroit Muscle Technologies. At one time, Jimmy the owner, was a member here. I also bought the "whole car gasket set" when I did that restoration. EVERY piece of the kit was perfect in every way both in materials used and shape...

    I f*in hate this car.

I don't think the rotor is on the dist shaft correctly. Pull it off again, and look inside. You'll see the tang that has to fall into the notch in the dist shaft. Line them up by eye, then, as you push down (sometimes quite a bit) twist the rotor until it drops down all the way. Once you've...

Installing front windshield, '70 Dart tips?

The string, or rope method is only used on the REAR windshield. The front windshield isn't installed that way. Install the gasket on the car, and use a glazing compount under the gasket where it sits on the car. Lay the glass on the gasket and starting from the BOTTOM, work the glass into the...

    No spark??

Oh man, you better change the points and condenser before you pull your hair out bud. I went through this for 3 weeks, and finally got it going last weekend. I was ready to set the SOB on fire. Turned out to be a bad condenser, one that was BRAND NEW! Good Luck. George
