    I'm running 175 lb / 12" springs on the back of a Duster. can't remember the angle, but I mimicked the factory pulling the top mount inward. Of course, the more angle, the higher spring rate you need.

In the early A body, the additional room gained by the rack vs steering box / linkage in a B/RB install is big......making the install mega easier. another big advantage is the rack conversion offers the use...

    Yes, you are correct. But he (Schumacher) has to make a new version (drivers side only) specifically for the HDK perches. Makes it easy...and cheap to swap to a small block, big block or Gen III Hemi down the road....if so desired. One K....many motors.....that's the way we roll.

    that is really a shorty....reminds me of what they ran on the Pro stock cars in the early 70's when they still utilized the K frame and wanted very limited, if any, travel.

    I see you are changing the upper shock mount....if you raise the upper attaching point, you should be in good shape to achieve the desired 12" spring.
