Yes there is a difference in 2 and 4 door rear seat frames, and also Barracuda notchback frames. Your car has a fold-down rear seat back, correct?

Yes they are "mushroomed" on and you need to grind the tip then glue them back on. But the only issue is slamming the door shut, they may come off! I had a friend drill and tap them with a very tiny tap set and put a screw with a large washer on the back...

Dart and Barracuda are different, the link says Dart, don't see anything about Barracuda. Did you contact Laysons? I believe they used to have them, not sure now.

From a Dart SE or similar? Floor pans changed in 1973 and so did the seat tracks. If you are using them on a 72-older I doubt they would work well. I have factory buckets in my 75 Dart SE 4-door and don't think they would work in my 69...

Did the same thing with the woodgrain wheel that I put in my 69 D200, it made a huge difference...

Yes, 1968 slides forward, 1967 and 1969-1976 flip down. The 1968 was redesigned for the lower pads, in 1969 they were not mandated anymore so they went back to the 67 design...
