    BRAKE DRUM QUESTION

There are no other vehicles with those drums. If you drilled original 4" bolt axles or bought axles with 4-1/2" pattern and want to keep the 10x1-3/4 brakes then you have to use what you have and drill the drums.

    A body vs. B body 8 3/4 backing plates.

Yes, if you are changing from small to big bolt pattern you must use the entire brake set-up. I put 11" C-Body brakes on my 69 Barracuda with cut down C-Body axles and it worked great!

    A body vs. B body 8 3/4 backing plates.

A-Body's have 1-3/4" shoes and B-Body's have 2-1/2" shoes I believe. There is a couple of protrusions on the backing plates where the shoes rub, if you have the wrong plate then the shoes and drums do not fit! Found this out in 1994 when I sent a set out to be powder coated and they returned the...

    Disc brake rotor swap

If it was your goal all along to have 4-1/2" bolt pattern then you wasted a lot of time and money. Yes you have to have the correct spindles and rotors/calipers to have the big bolt pattern.

    8 3/4 differential with 10' brakes

The difference in the backing plates are where the pads where the shoes rub on them. I sent mine out for powder coating and got back different one's from a B-Body, they would NOT work. I had to find used one's and decided to not send them back in for powder coating...

Kelsey Hayes setup, what is it worth?

I agree with the $300-400 pricing. I have been looking for a set but shipping would kill it from Canada, I just sent an 8" square weighing less then 2 lbs package to Ontario from Chicago and it was $21!

    Kelsey hayes swap done, but..

ALL of the master cylinders being remanufactured now are for manual DRUM brakes but all the "parts sellers" will tell you they are all the same even for disc brakes. Get a rebuilt original disc brake master cylinder from a reputable source.

10'' Drum front and rear question

63-72 Darts small bolt pattern used 10"x1-3/4" shoes, 73-76 used 2-1/2" shoes, so your Dart should have a 7-1/4" or 8-3/4" rear end or it has been changed to a later 8-1/4" or changed to big bolt pattern axles and brakes...

    10"x 1.75' brake drum BBP???

There is no such thing. Most people change the brakes to 11" from a C-Body when going to big bolt pattern. You can pretty much use any big bolt pattern brake set-up too. Why stay with the small brakes?

Master cylinder question? What's it fit?

That is actually a 70-up manual drum or disc brake master, that is what Cardone says if you go to any parts store to buy a new master for your Mopar. It is definitely a 71-76 for manual drums.
