I was quoted $1200 to hand make and install both front and rear seats for the 66 dart 4 door. That is counting vinyl, cloth inserts, piping and new foam. Your getting hosed if you pay it, do it yourself!

I made this a while ago when i was doing the swap in a 72 scamp, I can't remember if it was right or not so user beware. Use sheet metal screws when you are test fitting everything, THEN weld.

They may look the same but 2 door and 4 door rear seats are way different! And I thought 20 bucks for a black rear seat in perfect condition was a great deal at the time. :angry7:

Who sells a ONE PIECE, MOLDED carpet for 73 and up? I know that Yearone has the crappy 2 piece that involves more trimming than anything.

The stock one that was in my 73 scamp was held in with the domelite, the flap from the windshield, the trim around the rear window and the long trim pieces that go along the top of the door opening. I would get someone to hold it in place while you tuck the front under the windshield gasket...
