Went to lunch today with friends. We all brought out our green Mopars for St Patrick's Day (a few days early). Mine is the one in the middle. We got a table over looking the parking lot (best seats in the house!).

That was a pretty car when new. The paint color may not look good now, but maybe it'll buff out. The caved in quarter, not so much. There are virtually no reproduction C-body parts available. And that includes sheet metal. You say you don't need floors, but you can't even get decent repro floors...

Looks like a Morgan. Might even be a Morgan 8 with a V8. Weighs as much as a Buick. Look at it from the bottom and it appears to have been made out of old wooden pallets and beer cans.

The 67, 68, and 69 Barracuda coupe and convertible trunk lids are the same. Only the holes for the trim and emblems are different depending on the model year. Don't know if that difference extends to holes which may or may not be in the under surface bracing that the exterior sheet metal is...

My little town had it's "Summer's End Cruise in" yesterday, so I had a few friends stop by before the show and we grilled burgers and hot dogs before driving into the show together. ...don't know if its still on or not, but I think there may also still be a small weekly cruise in at Dogs R Us in Titusville (with a view of Cape Canaveral).

...and the weekly Saturday cruise in at Old Town Kissimmee is kind of fun too. But it can't compare to The Villages cruise in. The traffic getting to it and then going home is enough to keep excursions to Old Town to a minimum.

...and don't forget the Saturday cruise ins at The Villages the third Saturday of each month. Those shows are worth the drive and the number and quality of the cars have always impressed me. I usually try to time my Florida visits, to see family in Oviedo, so that I can attend the Villages...

Great that you were able to show the cars together. I took this photo in the driveway yesterday. Just got home from a car show I attended with a few buddies. That's my Barracuda in the middle and the Darts belong to my buddies (and my old 'farm truck" in the background).

A buddy of mine has a 273 4 speed 69 Dart GT convertible. His 4 speed convertible is rarer than my 1 of 60 made 68 340 4 speed Barracuda Formula S convertible. Any 4 speed convertible is very rare. And yes, the 4 speed does add to it's value simply because everyone wants a 4 speed...

I received my AMD shipment today as well. Two 68 Barracuda full quarters, two 68 Dart quarter skins, and an A body rear cross member (shock mount). I had ordered 68 Barracuda splash shields as well. They showed "in stock" when I ordered, but they were gone by the time they shipped my order...

If you like the car, take it with you. It won't be that unusual in Mexico. Valiant convertibles were assembled and sold new in Mexico. There are still enough old Valiants on the road there that there must be parts suppliers.
