    Aftermarket wheels...how safe are they??

I suspect that some of these wheels are also subjected to loads they were not designed for, both weight and side loads. Add to that the poor quality control and poor materials used in some off-shore manufacturing and you have this sort of problem.

    Tire size

By the way, this is how 205-50-15s look on 15 x 6.5 rims on my Barracuda. We have run these tires and rims on my son's '67 Dart convertible and a '65 Mustang that he built (and sold). The tires were originally run on an '87 Daytona Shelby Z. I will probably run 215-60s on the Mirada wheels when...

    Tire size

Don't sell it just because you can't get good 13" tires. Get some 15 x 6 wheels and some 205-60-15 (maybe even 205-50s) tires and enjoy the ride. Lots of ways to get 15" small bolt wheels, too (we made up some 15 x 10s years ago). As for the value as it sits, I really have not followed early...

    Tire size

A lot depends on the width of your rims, but I always ran 215-70-14s on my GTS and my old '66 Barracuda.

    Tire size

I'm pretty sure all '64s had 13" wheels, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go to 15's. You're going to want something around 205-60-15 or 215-60-15. Trial fit them first, especially in a turn...

    Steel Wheel Manufacturer

Mopar 14 and 15" wheels regardless of bolt pattern share the same diameter center. When my son was in high school we made up some small bolt 15 x 10 wheels. The biggest problem you are facing is the size of the center register. They are also smaller on the 4" pattern. There isn't enough meat on...

    SBP Rallyes made wider?

We bought new 15x10 rims (12-1/4" center for Mopars) and installed a set of small bolt steel wheel centers. The steel wheels were spot welded to the rim so we drilled out the spot welds. We cracked an original center and decided to go big bolt. I removed two centers and installed a pair of big...

    Custom Rallye rims

If you already have wheels you can make them yourself with new rims (or have a local wheel shop do it). I was able to purchase some new 15x10 rims to make with small bolt centers a few years ago. All you need is to remove the center and use a dial indicator to get it straight, check the...
