    Trying to weld, I’m terrible!

All great information. I'm no welder but a master grinder (sucks). Biggest things, as mentioned (and told to me years ago) "CLEAN" is a must, Gas is Good, spot and move a few inches away, repeat, then go back to first spot (it is CLEAN right), spot the new to the 1st, move a few inches away...

73 Duster - how to removal rear windshield = want to reuse gasket and glass

Thanks rusty, the car is not worth that much monetarily but sentimentally to me it’s priceless and if I don’t keep it forever I’ll give it to the son of my friend who died before his son was born, I bought the car from his wife within days of his death circa 78 or 79. Keeper

73 Duster - how to removal rear windshield = want to reuse gasket and glass

Rustyswinger, I like that handle:lol:. Sort of like my car “Rusty Dusty”. Thing I have going for me on this car. 73 Duster - how to removal rear windshield = want to reuse gasket and glass

So I’m pecking away at it. Thus far I’ve sprayed WD-40 around the outside edges where the glass meets the seal and let it sit for a day or so. Using a 2” plastic putty knife I gently worked the rubber away from the glass about 1/4” in from the edge all the way around. Holding this 1/4” up a bit...

73 Duster - how to removal rear windshield = want to reuse gasket and glass

Thanks guys, lots of good ideas to kick around. I’ll give it a go and if the gasket is too brittle I’ll break out the “lazer blade”.

73 Duster - how to removal rear windshield = want to reuse gasket and glass

Trim is off and the round lock bead is out. I don’t want to cut the gasket and/or break the glass, need to remove to perform repairs to trunk gutter and make it easier to reach top inner of quarter panel. Car is gutted, no trunk lid, doors, fenders, suspension, or other glass, it is presently a...

What full floor will fit - 73 Duster

Thanks for the reply. I'll check that out In the mean time, can anyone tell me which cars (Obviously A-Body only) and what years (example only 70 - 76 Dart, Duster, or any A-Body car 67 - 76) will work as I'm possibly looking for a "donor" car that may have other usefull parts as well as...

What full floor will fit - 73 Duster

I'm on a quest for a full floor pan for my proj car (in signature). When I say full floor I mean from the front toe kick to beyond the rear seat riser, side to side, tunnel included. I've got a few real good leads that are within driving distance of me, but don't want to waste their or my time...
