Where can I get this brake line piece?

And you said you thought no drum cars existed after 72. Slant cars were most certainly avail in 72+ with drums. I own one. I was saying I think the 72 cutoff you are thinking of was that any disc car was BBP.

Where can I get this brake line piece?

I believe any disc car is BBP, after 72, but slant six cars with drums and SBP was avail in 74. My 74 was originally sbp/drums too.

    Durango Brakes Won't Bleed

Does it have abs on the front or rear? Had a similar issue with a late model Jeep. Air was getting stuck in the ABS module. Fought it for a long time before I finally got it figured out. Also had a 97 dakota, which I imagine is similar to your 99 Durango, but it didnt give me any fits when...

Junkyard swaps: Rear brake options for 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 axles.

Couple observations. In the past when i had abundant time, i would do anything to save a buck, but spending $120 on drum brakes you have to pull yourself seems pretty steep, especially rusty ones that need half the stuff replaced. You can piece together a disc setup via rockauto for under...

    8 3/4 rear disc swap - ford ranger/explorer

Yeah i saw those, but at that price, there are companies selling complete rear disc kits in the $300-$400 range. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-Mopar-8-3-4-in-Rear-Disc-Brake-Kit-for-A-B-E-Body,296827.html Unless pulling this stuff out of a junkyard, i dont think you could even...

    8 3/4 rear disc swap - ford ranger/explorer

That's very helpful, thank you!. Did you have to modify anything beyond wheel studs? Like opening the Center bore? Or you just drill the missing hole and done? Went on like stock? (Not worried about e brake)

    8 3/4 rear disc swap - ford ranger/explorer

Can I hear more about this please and thank you! I'm on rock auto looking at grand cherokee rear calipers...and i'm missing how the 5 bolt pattern on the 8 3/4 axle flange is going to mate to the 2 bolt caliper bracket....or did you make a mounting bracket?

    1975 B body disc to A body?

As the title suggests, I have a parts car, with a disc setup on it (75 RR). Is this a bolt on to A bodies? I swapped a 74 disc kit from an E body onto a 74 dart is the past, but unsure if the late 75 B is the same, or if the 75 setup is of any use to anyone. Thanks!!!

    Braided Brake lines

In my bracket car, I ran the pre assembled, allstar brand, black, ptfe, braided, with nylon coating. The ease of install and lines are MINT. I will be using them again. Beats flaring lines 100%.. no reason to complicate it, you can get simple adaptor fittings to go to AN right from the mc, and...

Opinions on universal or wilwood brake pedal conversion.

Yeah this is my only a body...and it had power brakes when I got it. So it was never setup for manual. Hence the conglomeration it has now.

thank you Sir, I'm down in Salem. I'm going to pull everything off, and remove the mechanical brake switch, and see how bent/bound it actually is. I will be in touch if its jacked beyond repair!

Opinions on universal or wilwood brake pedal conversion.

sounds good. With my career keeping me away from it, I drag it out a few times a year and only clean up whats necessary to click off some 10's at norwalk and national trains for their mopar events. Used to make a career of being at the track every single weekend. All the little hack jobs that...

I'm not so sure the MC will fit between the header and the firewall, but I'll tear it all off and see where it lands me.

    Braided brake line options

I sell a bunch of fragola brake hoses, and i use them myself. They can be ordered in -3AN, -4AN, 1/8 NPT...so we'd just need to know what fitting size, and/or get adaptors to incorporate the flex lines. also avail in almost any length. cant really beat $12. or we can do black, or coated, etc...

    What are these fittings for?

I've actually encountered this as the norm. I don't think many MC's actually have the standard 3/16 brake fitting actually in the MC. At least my old mopars haven't. or at the very least, a big brass fitting with a smaller 3/16 bore and flare.

    Which "drag race" master cylinder?

Mine is listed in metric. Just a sliver over 1 inch. Wilwood fronts. Wouldnt want it any stiffer. MC before this setup was the 1.125 with factory style disc. Again pretty stiff. Both stop the car fine at the track. Would I want to take a 500mile road trip? No. That being said....try...

    1973 Scamp Brake Question

If you do enough research, you will find that most mid to late 70's mopar disc brake setups will swap to an A body. People part out cars on here all the time, and over on fbbo , guys sell entire magnum/cordoba cars complete for $500. There are also bracket kits out there that utilize a...

    Front wheels spaced far out

You can't really call bs on the true statement that an aftermarket system narrows track width....thats a pretty obviously correct statement. I Also said with backspacing, he can tuck them in better, but that doesn't change spindle location, or the fact that the center hub remains in the same...
