Okay guys what's your opinion on using nitrogen versus straight up air in your tires... street versus strip. Supposedly the volume of nitrogen remains more constant under varying temprature than air.... so what's your thoughts... A local tire shop charged some poor gal in my office here $4.50...

1980 I was 16 - got my first car. It was my great grandfather's 70 dart had a /6 and hand controls (missing his right leg) - spent the next year building a 340 clone from 2 wrecks: 70 340 Dart and 71 340 Challenger... don't have any of them now -wish I did - the wrecks were really no that bad...

Let's put it this way - with my foot in it - I can watch the gas gauge move....lucky if I'm 10 -12 mpg taking it easy

Looking at a 1970 dated 340 with 'J' heads and intake - no exhaust manifolds - not siezed -needs a rebuild. Asking $900. Is it worth it? What's a good offer that won't offend?
