21085/1085 from napa is what I use.

I don't have any issues with it in a 318, it sucks off the line unless I load the converter (needs gears).

I'll be the odd ball. I'm running it in a stock long block 318, 4bbl (600cfm quickfuel), 2500 stall converter and 2.45 gears (needs changed). It's a dog out of the hole and at times I have surge issues around 1500rpm (probably tuning) but minus that it's not terrible.

It's possible, yes the radiator does need removed. You can leave the grille and latch support in it.

I like the Performer RPM on mine, only thing not stock in it is the 340 cam.

1968 is Red. Blue wasn't used until 1971 or 1972.

Get a 5.9 magnum mini starter and a set of Dougs headers (If those are to much then Headmans work unless a power steering car which require hammer work).

Trash the end seals and use red or black silicone as mentioned. My Edelbrock Performer RPM sealed right up on my 318.

The Thumpr I had in my 318 shook pretty bad. Took it out ad went with another cam(only change) and everything settled down.
