    67 barracuda trunk molding

Here are the correct size clips. You'll have to grind the 2 end ones down a little shorter so that they don't dig into your trunk gutter when it's closed. Auveco # 19626 Universal Molding Fastener Number 10-24 X 3/4" Bolt.

    Stripper.

O'reilly Auto sells the Master Pro brand which really kicks ***, like the old aircraft stripper used to. I used it on my Barracuda and was super-happy with the aggressiveness and speed that worked...

    trunk seal install

I just did mine and following the instructions on the 3M Black adhesive, I applied a thin layer to both surfaces and gave it about 2 minutes to get good and tacky, then pressed them together firmly. No clamps or tape needed and they locked into place almost instantly. Did a foot or two at a time.

Placing a Finish on Polished Aluminum That Has Been Stripped of Anodize

You should use an adhesion promoter that's meant for use on bare metal/aluminum before clearing them with the PPG clear. House Of Kolor makes one called "Adhereto" Part # AP01. It just needs one light/medium coat then clear coat right away. House of Kolor AP01 Adhereto Adhesion Promoter 1 Quart...

Differences in 1/4 Glass Regulators??? Notchback vs Fastback

I'll have to get it torn down and figure out exactly what it needs. Probably just any nylon rollers or whatever that can break down/crack.

Differences in 1/4 Glass Regulators??? Notchback vs Fastback

I have a '67 Notchback that has some issues with the rear 1/4 window regulator on the passenger side and needs overhauling. A friend of a friend has some regulators out of a Fastback. Will they work for parts and/or complete interchange? Thanks for any info!

    Blocking and bodywork

No experience with that brand. I did use a lot of paper from Orielly's (MasterPro brand) with good results. 3M stuff is almost always the best, but also very expensive for a hobbyist.

    Blocking and bodywork

One simple thing to keep in mind: The coarser the sandpaper, the straighter the cut. Don't be afraid to start blocking your body filler with 36 grit to rough it in quickly. I like to block my high build primer with 180 grit dry to get it close, then finish it off with 320 dry. Use a dark...

    Grille time!

I had Partsmonsta polish my grilles and i did the headlight surrounds myself. For the turn lenses, I also liked the amber look and went with the amber bulbs but I also sprayed a translucent amber tint over the lenses and i really like the way it looks, even though it's not stock.

    Best Spot weld drill?

I have used them all, and they all have their place. My favorite though is my Annihilator. You can set the depth so it doesn't go through both pieces and it's effortless to use, as long as you have the clearance. SPOT ANNAHILATOR DELUX KIT Video Clip:

AE Paint a panel at a time.

Looks really great, especially for what you are doing and how! Wow, $115.00 per gallon kit... I just bought two gallons of Hemi orange Pearl basecoat only for my Barracuda project @ $325.00 plus tax per gallon (PPG paint). Then I dumped another $100.00 worth of gold pearl into it to give it some...

    Fixing chips in the paint

Here's the little 3M block I was talking about. They work great. They make discs for them too but I usually just use a small piece of regular wet sanding paper. Might be able to find a better price...

    Fixing chips in the paint

Make sure to use a good flat block to sand the clear down after it dries good. If you sand & buff it it too soon, it might shrink down into the chip again a little bit after it thoroughly cures.

    Fixing dented bumpers

If you do try to atraighten it out, the thing to remember is that you don't want to try and pound it all out in one hard swing. That will be more likely to cause the chrome to crack. Use lighter pressure with many multiple softer blows to gradually bring the dent out, and like others have said...

Am I ready for the last coat of primer

Hit the whole car with some 180, at least, before you spray any more primer over it. Otherwise, you might end up with a little shrinkage and sanding marks showing up later, after the paint cures really good.
