Where did you get the front spoiler?

Bummer, well good to know at least. I wouldn't be surprised if the glass seal is roached, it's originally a CA car and pretty much all the original rubber is toasted. I'll have to do some tests pouring water over different spots. I'm thinking of taking the car on a road trip to visit my uncle...

Kept forgetting to grab pics but here they are. First two are the lower corners of the back glass. Third pic is looking up at one of the corners, you can kind of see the gap where water is leaking in and the fourth pic shows the surface rust on the trunk floor from the water dripping down.

I found out a couple months back that water is leaking into the trunk of my 1970 Duster. Unfortunately it must have been happening for a good few years because I had (stupidly) taped down some cheap roll-up insulation in an attempt to reduce noise probably 8-10 years ago but it didn't work...

OK I think I'm just gonna pull the glass and check it out it's not too hard to do. I know I need new hardware (up stops) on the driver window anyway.

I did the same I put in new fuzzies earlier this year and just now put in all new window and door seals and now the problem is worse as the windows won't correctly roll up into the groove in the window seal. And it still makes that God-awful squeak lol. So I actually have a 1970 Plymouth...

OK so this has been something I have been ignoring since I got my '70 duster six years ago. When the door windows are anywhere in between fully up or down they wobble back and forth and squeak like crazy as I drive down the road. Looking at the window mechanisms it seems like there's supposed...

Lol I'm not about to do that the paint is in decent shape for being 20 years old... Luckily I got the goof-off to work with a lot of elbow grease and slicing it down with a razor. I have an old blow drier that works pretty well, i'll park it out in the sun for a few hours too.

That's what I meant with the stripe remover, I got one for the tape residue on the top and bottom and it works great for that but does nothing to the rubber stuff. Guess my only option to try now is a heat gun, hopefully I find other uses for one I buy since I don't have one.disgust

Hmm interesting. In that case I found film online that applies to the lens, probably not as durable as paint but lets more light through.

I've seen some pictures of racing Mopars that have blue-tinted headlights, what was the purpose of this? I think it looks really cool and would like to do that to the headlights on my Duster, if it doesn't have any other purpose...

Does anyone have a good-quality picture of a B7-painted A-body (preferably Duster/Demon/Dart Sport)? I really want to paint my Duster a mix between Plum Crazy and B5, sort of like those metallic pearl/candy/whatever I don't know paints that change color in different light.

Whoa, that's cool! I think what I'll try is cut out some black construction paper in the shape of the parts of the grille that I want to black out and stick it on to see how it might look.

I've thought of the '69 Valiant grille but they're too hard to find. I would really like to see a picture or something of a '70 grille that has had the outer gray/silver area blacked out. I don't think it would look cheesy or bad, but I'm having a tough time visualizing it in my head.

Ugh, I like the shark-tooth grilles even less. Just visualizing a Charger-style blacked-out recessed grille makes me think that it would look really good on a car like this. When I look at pictures of my Duster on the computer and turn the brightness way down, the grille gets really dark (duh)...
