You might want to bump the stall a little higher. Maybe 2800 or so. I am just over 500 hp and run 2800, though I wish I had gone a little higher. 3.23 is a good all around gearing and a 727 is certainly strong enough to handle it. It will be a quick car and you will be very happy with it.

Oh, you have no headlights. Sorry, running lights to me are something else. I assume you checked the bulbs? If they are good, the likely culprit is the headlight switch. Be sure to check the connector to make sure it isn't melted as well.

Are the running lights out front and rear, or just the rear?

It is a '73 Dart Sport originally with a 318. I suspect the motor was changed at some point to a 340 or 360, then back to a 318 before I got it. It had a pretty heavy lower rpm vibration on acceleration and I found an external weight on the torque converter. 318's had internally balanced...

I'd love to go if I can. I own a sports bar with softball and volleyball fields, so weekend tournaments keep me from most weekend fun stuff. That's Mopars in the Park, isn't it? I am planning to make that one. Greg
