If you buy a snap on, doesn't it come with a life time warrantee? free calibration?
here's one i used back in the late 80's early 90's. I used it for several head jobs.
I did find a 273 bellhousing here in my area, $50. After a little research on this site...i learned that housing is for the smaller 9.5 flywheel. Maybe 10" for my use. Since im concerned it may create problems if i put a 360 on the run stand, finding an externally balance flywheel, i thought...
I was thinking about that too. Finding a donor auto trans. I was looking to keep it...not so bulky. easy to work around. i thought about going to pull a part, seeing what manual trans bell housings are out there. any 3.7, 4.7, 5.7 318 etc would bolt up. I'd probably just spend the money before...
Looking to build a run stand.
The starter is the big question. I was looking for bellhousings but it seems they cost around 150. In the how too thread i saw a custom bracket. I'm assuming he made it. Does anyone know where you could buy one?
As i was rummaging through the garage, I have a...
I like my Husky 52". Kids and wife got it for me last Christmas. My buddy is snap on. His doesnt have the quiet close drawers. He had it painted to match his sublime green custom ram. I like the fact he could trade his in but he has alot of money in it. Both are nice. i quess its all about what...
i bought an otc bubble flair from summit. worked good. double flair set from autozone, worked good. my brother...hydraulic. works good.$$$$ but he doesnt have the patience for the manual ones.
I was thinking about the zr13 or zr15 too. I had an air back light on my old buick for ever. Sold the car. zr15 goes on sale for $249 every now and then. I just have a hard time spending that kind of money at harbor freight.
Made this tool to remove wrist pins from pressed rods and pistons. 12" 1/2" threaded rod, 2 nuts, 2 1 3/4" coupling nuts, couple of m12 washers(they are just a little smaller than the wrist pin) and 1 1/4" gas T notched for the piston.
Neighbor uses E go, has the mower, snow blower, edger, wacker....had to replace one of the batteries. He said he called them about the problem, sent him a new one, with no hassle, didn't have to send the old one back. Think hes had it 3 years.
I'm looking to buy a new scanner soon. my old one is an actron...worked well, but just does the basics. I like the Innova 5100. Im just wondering what people here have, like or hate.
Thanks in advance!
What did you end up buying? Im looking at buying one, Fowler seems like the best bang for the buck. I was wondering if i can check valve spring height, piston to valve clearance, set up a ring gear and dial in a cam with just a good gauge and base?
