Any Recommendations on a 1/2" Digital Torque Wrench?

-
I was at a pawn shop today, dude wanted $400 for a well used snap on digital.
I don't trust my craftsman click anymore.
I have never liked the click type, either. The beam type is perfectly acceptable and much less to go wrong.

I have a good quality Mac click style torque wrench that has been flawless for the past 25 years with daily use. 14 years ago I bought a digital snap on tech angle because manufacturers were going with multi step torque sequences.ex 25ft/lbs, 40, 40, 30 degrees. Both have been good quality but in my opinion if you don’t need the angle feature I would stick with the clicker.RJ

I never knew this kind of torque wrench existed till this thread. Are they any good?

If you buy a snap on, doesn't it come with a life time warrantee? free calibration?

here's one i used back in the late 80's early 90's. I used it for several head jobs.

No, no free calibration. The last few snap on guys I have dealt with have a "checking fixture" hanging on the wall within their truck, that a customer can check their torque wrench against any time they want but if it needs sent in and recalibrated no, not free.
