What would be a nice reliable and safe aluminum jack to have? My wife's Tahoe doesn't have a jack and her back isn't the best. I wish to have something she can lift if she had to if for some reason I or someone else couldn't get to her in a reasonable amount of time.

I'll second that! My start was a 194 piece Craftsman tool set that I got for christmas. Now I have a 3 tier tool box that is loaded and still need more room. My collection started only 3 years ago, I think. So yea, your collection will grow fast. You'll look back in a couple years at that Kobalt...

Idk. I got my 3 ton Craftsman 3 years ago and it still works perfect. My only complaint is the lift speed.
