    Hello from Northern CA

Welcome to the site. I'm a bit south of you, about 20 miles NE of Sacramento. I have, however, been through Redding many times. I went camping at Whiskeytown lake when I was a kid. Nice looking Dart you have there.

Nice Scamp, I bet it sounds great with that cam.

    New guy

Nice '68 2 door sedan. I love the color, very clean looking. The 7.25" that is mostly likely on your car already will do fine with a 318 (even slightly modified). As others have said, the 360 will need something stronger.

    Greetings from AZ

Welcome. I hope you have air conditioning in that Dart.

    70 duster

Awesome Duster. I like the trim package you have on that thing. Is that Plum Crazy?

    hi 71 duster

I'm not the OP, so I assume you were referring to the pictures of my old car. You are correct, those seats are actually from a '91 Mitsubishi Eclipse I found in an auto yard. They were in pretty good shape and were very comfortable. I put those seats in the car in 2001, two years before I...

    hi 71 duster

Welcome to the board. I also had a '71 Duster, sold it 8 years ago and I miss it dearly. I found it for sale on craigslist a few weeks ago with fresh paint and a completed interior: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/2542732891.html

Arizona requires you to smog a pre-1973 vehicle?

Just got myself a 70' swinger

You mean a '70 Swinger, not a 70 ft. Swinger. Sorry, I couldn't resist... Cool car. The '70 is one of my all time favorite Darts.

Hello from the great white north!

Welcome to the forum, Kyle. Sounds like you have yourself a really cool car up there. I also had a 318 under the hood of my Duster, it had some good get-up and go too. How about some pictures of the Dart?

    Greetings from California!

Nice looking '67. You should keep the post, it wouldn't look right without it. The hardtop has a completely different rear window slope and roof/window line--are you aiming for the hardtop look? Keep in mind, the 2-door post has the same rear window and roof/window line as a 4 door. I've...

Are you looking to put '68 side marker's on, or were you just curious as to what they are?
  26. MoparDart68

    Newb in Texas

Which trim pieces? The wheel opening or side marker trim? The '67 never had side marker's, they started in '68.

Cool Dart. I have the same dog dish caps on my '68.

    I'm back!!

Cool little Valiant. Looks like everything is there, not bad for $300. Maybe I'll see you on the road. Here is my daily driver:

    73 Duster 318

If you have A/C, you really need to be careful with the cam you choose. Going too wild on the cam will definitely affect the performance of the compressor--it did on my 318. About the headers, well they will hang low on the driver's side. For a daily driver they are a major pain in the arse...

    73 Duster 318

Just my .02. Not really worth it with a 318. A 360 would be better suited for the hp you're trying to get to.
