Also take a look at 440Source they have a small block flywheel that is for both the nuetral balance of the 318 and the external balance of the 360 by removing or adding a bolt on weight. I use this flywheel and it works well in my internal balanced 360

It is an early verti-gate shifter . I have a later model in my cuda. It is a great racing shifter but a little awkward on the street (even tho thats where I use mine). The 'T ' under the shifter T handle is only for downshifting and of course the other one is for reverse

also check the clutch pedal pivot bushing for wear or cracks in the bracket that it mounts in (seen it crack and flex on several cars especially with heavy clutches)

yes the crossmember is the same and I have been running a hydralic clutch master/ slave for the last 15 years or so and your right it is a better setup plus the linkage doesn't bind when racing
