You are correct in the steps of installation of the torsion bars. As for the question on a spacer are you referring to where the pivot shaft goes into the k member if so there should not be a washer or spacer. Thanks James From PST

In some cases but not all with this style of control arm you may need to trim the one tab (per side) on an angle but not all of them. I am wondering if the arms are on the wrong sides but the photos are hard to tell. James From PST
