Hi everybody: We completely rebuilt a 340 but don't have a clue where the none transmission end of the neutral safety switch wire/pig tail goes. I can't find a picture anywhere. The car never did have one when I bought it. Just a picture would be awesome. 1969 Dart 340 727 Edit...Sorry...

That looks fine. My throttle cable is bran new so let's hope it works but with this new stuff now a days nothing seems to fit right :lol:

Air Gap..I'll use the stock one then. Just took the throttle cable holder off of the old 318 and will clean it up and paint it.

Bought one...The flimsy one had a handle but but the chain looked like one of MJ Cool J's, this one is much beefier so I got it. I'll just use a ratchet

Hi everybody: I'm taking out the engine and transmission and was told that fluid shouldn't leak out the back of the transmission, a 904 in this case. I can get hold of a yoke for a 727 and I was wondering if that would fit on that 904 shaft to plug things up a bit. Thanks

No it's hooked up in front you're looking from the rear of the car

Brakes are from Mopar madness about 10 years ago and everything is just getting put together now...See the little bugger to your left? I need another one. :( Maybe I'll just get a big packet of plugs and get lucky with one the right size

Not the adjuster plug the little round one the size of a dime...Probably why I'm having such a hard time trying to find one

I'm snubbed..It was so densely packed full of dirt 3/4 full that I thought they never tapped it all the way at the factory. It felt like metal. Even when I hammered a small nail into it that didn't work. I had to soak it in oil for days then finally it gave way. Just dirt and the threads just...

That makes sense. My friend had an old 64 Dodge 1/2 ton with an 8 3/4 in it.

Hi everybody: Are 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 spring perches the same? Can you swap rear ends without any alteration?

Problem solved. I guess it was never used, never had snubber bolted on it before. Just re tapped it 3/8. The threads were quite rusty so that was probably the main problem

They're bran new and I tried other 3/8s bolts that were around here also.

This one is all rebuild and off the car lying on the garage floor. That's why I'm dumbfounded...No obstructions either. Maybe re thread it??
