    black interior paint question

Rattle can paint just isn't all that good. I used Dupont's (Single Stage) Hot Hues Hot Rod Black, it's a satin black and I think looks great. No it isn't a Moapr but you get the idea. I'll be doing the same with my Duster when I get to it :thumblef:

    Paint anyone???

I'm also changing the interior to black on the car I'm building for my wife, I used Dupont (Hot Hues) Hot Rod Black. I'm really happy with it, nice satin look. Sorry, it's not a Mopar :evil4:

    Bedliner for interior floor

I've only sprayed it but prep should be the same. You prep like you would for paint, clean, de-grease, sand or scuff for a bit of tooth, de-grease again and go at it. Like most everything it isn't something you want to breath especially if you spray it so a good respirator is a must. Safety...

    Bedliner for interior floor

I sprayed all of the inside tub of my Jeep when I restored it and recently my son's tow truck, it looks good for those applications. Waterproof would be a yes but rubberized is kind of misleading, it's as hard as stone so as far as reducing noise I kind of doubt it.

    Rocky Mountain Dashes

There was a thread on that here recently, don't remember the details but a lot of bad fit, bad service comments as I recall.

    quarter panels

Probably 20 - 22 gauge, I get scraps of 18 gauge from a sheet metal buddy of mine and it's thicker than anything I've ever patched.

    Need Help Badly!!!!!

Yup, you're right, they're different, typical. I figured they would be the same, the 75 Adrt is almost identical to my 70 Duster, 3 small gauges on the left and an almost square speedo. I hate having to climb under dashes and I'm just an average size guy. Good luck, needless to say once you get...

    Need Help Badly!!!!!

Hmmm, I just took one out of a 75 Dart the other day, should be similar. Things that held it in place: About 5 screws in the bezel, 2 or 3 at the top facing straight down and 2 or 3 lower down staring right at you. The knob and retaining nut on the wiper switch, the one on the right, I...

    Seat Belts

You can also get them re-webbed at an upholstery shop if you want to keep the original buckles. It's not that cheap but it maintains the originality if that matters to you.

Anyone seen a 68 Dart painted silver with red stripe and red interior?

I've seen a 69 Charger that combo, looked awesome, can't imagine it not looking just as good on a Dart

    Bench with fold down armrest?

Yup it looks pretty much like that, I don't think it's pleated though? My intention is to go to buckets but I don't want to sell the bench seat until I have some buckets and know that they fit. I'm still working on another car so I haven't even started on the Duster. When I know more I'll let...

    Bench with fold down armrest?

My 70 Duster has one, I'm probably going to switch to buckets when I get around to it but I think all you guys are just too far away to ship it if I did want to get rid of it.

    recovering seats

I have both styles and prefer the straight one for some reason, others may prefer the bent style, personal preference I suppose. It's really a very straight forward job, about the toughest part is to get the hog ring into the plier properly if it's in an awkward area. I hold the ring in the...
