    I have a gold box for my 6.1L hemi in my 68 Charger... havent gotten it installed yet. I also have an MSIII that I plan on using to control an EFI system on a 8-71 blown 440 in my 64 Polara... It all just takes time. I ran an older MSII on my EFI 512 years ago - worked very well.

    I saw that intake a while back when I was looking for an EFI intake for my magnum swap -- but they were out of stock then too --- still are. I was always amazed at how pricy other companies make their EFI intake manifolds - it's crazy!

    it is a 9.0:1 compression engine. Purple shaft 284/284* camshaft with ported 906 heads... running on 91 octane ---- i am almost positive it is not pre-ignition..... maybe a valve hanging open

    or unless you're me... i doubt logically you could do it with a 383 - the 440 would be a better starting point... i have a 383 myself so i know what you want but it is just not logical to use the 383 for it

    actually i went with a 600cfm just because i had one laying around (plus it was my daily driver) --- it was an edelbrock with mechanical secondaries.... i know the 380 crate does not make too much vacumme at idle ---- i have the paperwork here somewhere... ill type it up for ya...

    i have the other crate... the small one - the only difference is the intake and camshaft... it is suggested both engines run on 91 octane. carb suggestion is for a 750cfm. I am (was) running an automatic... very nice street motor - i never had many problems with it

    Well i'll be running a 5-speed manual trans so i need not worry about stall speed :) the heads were ported in the bowls... so - hopefully this will be a good combo for a heavy B-body....
