Be pends on the fender/extension you have on your car. A measure of the extensions and I believe the amount of screws that hold them on are different.

The difference is in the hood hinges. They changed I believe in 72. The later hinges have larger holes than the early ones and the early slots are different.

Depends. They changed styles on 6/1/1972. If yours are are white and round with a key way, yes you can find those at most auto parts stores.

Mine leaked in the glass channel. I use a little RTV while pulling the seal away from the glass. Sealed perfect. The longer you let it sit the more the seal will conform to the body and glass. Especially in the sun.

What is it your trying to accomplish? The factory hood hinges have worked the way they are for 55 years. .

Year , plant and last 6 of the VIN stamping didn’t start till 69.

Well and if in fact it is a 67-68, there won’t be numbers on the radiator core support.

Sedan was only available in 67-68. I'm thinking someone did a VIN title swap. Might be a problem when you go to sell it. And yes a 4dr windshield and rear glass are the same.

Dart has the AVS2.

Weld all the holes up. Makes for a much cleaner look.

The answer is that easy. Linkage types changed around 6/1/72. Before this date they used a small black linkage connector . After this date they went to a small white keyed push on connector. Plus the little post that they connect to are shorter on the later arms. The link from the motor to the...

Not the over center spring. I knew the floor jack washer trick. I’m talking about the hood hinge spiral spring. I was hoping there was some “Trick” to putting those on.

Someone know an easy way to install the coil spring on a 67 up style hood hinge? Or a ah **** spring.

I’ve never seen a latch with that little hole. I think that was added at some point. That is a non moving part.

I have 67 fenders on my 69 Dart. But I used a 69 grill and bezels. It took some effort to make them work.

I did go by a ACE hardware store to day. And thou they can order the wire they don't carry it. So what I did was buy a roll of of 16 Ga galvanized steel wire. I used the old one for a pattern and duplicated it the best I could. Well it worked out great.

So the other day I move the seat forward for my wife in the 69 Dart. It has bucket seats. Then when I went to put the seat back for my big *** the adjuster wire going from one track to the other broke. What are you using as a replacement? Clothes hanger?

Oh I don’t know, most people won’t get over the rusty exterior to wonder what under the hood looks like.

Why are you worried about the part no one will see going down the road, but your ok with it looking like a rust bucket? I don’t get it.
