I've completely rebuilt the suspension on my 65 Formula S. When I was attaching the front spindles I can't locate 2 of the bolts that go on each side. There are 2 holes and I can only locate 1 for each side. The ones I'm missing appear to be threaded. Where could I find these. I'm sure when I'm...

I messed up. I purchased poly set from PST. Great quality. No issues there. The old sleeves were there and looked good. The new bushings were very tight going in. The sleeves are a pain to remove, so I just used the existing ones. Pressed everything in. Looked good. Assembled the lower control...

Rebuilding the lower control arms in my 65 Barracuda. Have new bushings and shaft. My question is the adjuster bolt works great on both sides, but the lever is very tight on one side. Is there a way to free this up.

I just completed mine with greasable poly bushings from PST. I'm having the same issue. The bushing isn't nearly as tight as the original bushings were. They can't go far if the torsion bar clips are in place, but seems as though they wouldn't last as long.

I see comments that poly bushings are junk. Seems like PST wouldn't offer those if they are. I replaced all of the front suspension bushings with poly from PST and am well pleased.

I pulled the torsion bars on my 65 Barracuda Formula S and found the numbers 626/7. After a lot of search I found an article by Slantsix Dan from 2013 stating these were equivalent to 892/3. That did make me feel better, but curious why the number difference. Ma Chrysler, right

Actually I haven't tried. I'm in the process of doing so many different things to my 65. Also my wife had surgery so I haven't been in the garage in over a week. She is doing fine. I'm working 3 days this week and if the hurricane doesn't come this direction ill get back on it Thursday

I have used the chat also. Can't advise about durability. Car is still being assembled. A friend did his on a 65 mustang and it still looks new. Another guy used appliance paint which has held up well.good luck

I sat on the rear Saturday and had someone measure. It actually dropped 2 inches which I think should be good. If you add the rear window and the rest of the car, add my 230 and I think it will be perfect

This us mine with formula s springs which are 1 over. Obviously there is no weight on the car now. Hope this helps. The old tires are 14 in on stock rims

Looks perfect. I think my 1 over will be good once I assemble everything. Without the glass and everything else in the car it sits a little high. Ill take a photo tomorrow when I have it outside

When I picked up my 65 the springs were so flat. The car had shackles lifting as high as they could and the car sat low even when empty. The formula s had an extra leaf spring I believe. Good luck with your decision

I like PST as well. Complete kit with great instructions as well as phone advice available

If you order stock should be good. I ordered 1 inch plus. Does sit a little high but car is a bare skin. When reassembled it should be good. When you call talk to them. Very knowledgeable and will hook you up. Fast delivery as well

I purchased a kit from PST for my 65 Barracuda. Everything together for a good price. Most of the suspension is fairly easy to just remove and replace parts.
