Need a new gun to paint my 65 Barracuda. No plans for any painting once this is complete. What would be the most cost effective gun for me to purchase. I've used the TCP Global 3 gun set for the dash and interior trim pieces.

I'm using Tamco base clear and am really happy with the results. I'm no expert, first complete restoration at 66 years old. Lots of utube videos on painting available. Get an old piece of metal and practice getting your gun set and work on your spray pattern before spraying anything on your car...

Tamco will sell quarts and mix any color.

My 65 is AA 1 gold.

I have used summit and Nason single stage. I am currently restoring a 65 Barracuda Formula S and am using Tamco 2 stage Paint. It is so much easier to spray. It really looks great as well. Also Tamco provided a near perfect color match to the original color.

Where would I find replacement rollers for the front Windows in a 65 Barracuda. I found a rebuild kit for the rear.

I've seen the work they do and plan on having my bumpers plated by tri city. When I called they did give a higher price than the catalog, but they were quoting me a straight purchase price without a core to trade in. After a discussion the price was the same as the online price.

Thanks. I'm using aircraft stripper for the most part, but have some difficult areas as well as some rust.

What medium do you guys recommend for paint removed in areas that are difficult to sand.

I purchased a set of lenses from Mexico and have no complaints. I've heard s lot of negative comments but mine look good, or at least better than what I had before.

I'm interested in how to convert to gas struts.

I haven't painted anything in the color you ask about but I have used summit paint and found it was ok. I am using Nason on my 65 Barracuda. I pulled a piece of trim and took it to the local parts dealer. They mixed the color for me. Cost was 135 a gallon I believe.

Summit has a limited selection of colors, I saw a dodge ram truck painted with it and the owner/painter was very happy with how easy it was to apply. Don't know how it will hold up.

Your Barracuda looks great. Mine is a 65 Formula S. Original color was gold with gold interior. Picture is epoxy before 2 K primer was applied.

I used a flattening agent with the Nason when doing my interior, especially the dash assembly.

I'm curious about the clear coat. The paint I have from TCP Global says not to be clear coated. Not arguing, just asking. I have used Nason for the interior of my Barracuda and am pleased with the results.

I have a gallon of acylic urethane from TCP Global. Thought about spraying my dodge ram with it. I have the hardener and reducer. Just curious if anyone had used it and the results
