I had one on my 440 in my 66 D200. No problems as long as you keep the fuel pressure under 6 PSI. After a while especially on hot days, it was hard to start until i put a pressure valve in line. A good rebuilt pump will put 7 PSI out and that is the problem for all Carters

If they have the compression fit adjusting bolt, you will probably need to buy adjuster with lock nuts. After 50 years at least one will come loose if you don't change them.
