Is it the Blueprint Engines crate from Summit? If so, they have 2 versions. 375 HP with .474 lift cam 435 HP with .484 lift cam

with the W2 heads, I would think you would be making more power. What is your cam and compression? Stock stall then?

14's is respectable for a mild 318. But it depends on the metrics. Stock 5.0 Mustangs mid 80's through mid 90's were 14 sec cars. 4.6 GT Mustangs through 2004 were about the same. New GT's are high 13 sec cars.

Good point Dericks. Back to the original question. We know what pistons are in the engines. But what is the true compression ratio? All things equal, the 440 has a larger cam with more cubes, the 440 wins. Are you considering buying either engine? 340srule will not answer the question...

Definitely. All the area's I mentioned above are industrial zones (not sure about Baileys), no traffic at midnight. The problem is that too many spectators started showing up. Do you ever watch the Baja 1000 on TV where all those spectators are standing on the side of the road? It was like that.

They also used to run at Baileys Ave off 101. I've never been out there (too far for me) but heard that there used to be some wicked muscle cars down there.
