    That modern look....

Amen. The wheels have to look decent to pull off the "modern" look for me.If it is just dropped and relying on ign-ormous(ignorantly enormous) wheel/tire combo to pull off the look...thats a no go.

    Draglite locking lugs?

Tanks for the replies! As far as the longer studs that would be a no, I'am still using the stock length studs atm.

    Draglite locking lugs?

Looking thru summit to get some 15x8 4.5-BS for my Duster and came to the lugs for this set up(1/2 x20 RH). I was wondering what most of you were using for locking lugs? Ill be getting the open racing lugs(http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wld-601-1426) for the majority of the studs, but I...

what kind of rims should i buy.....?

Hmm, what about a "spider cap'? Might not be perfect, but possibly cover the axle/spindle center? Just push it thru from the back side of the rim?

what kind of rims should i buy.....?

I always thought the SS copied the Torq thrust appearance. I prefer the Torq Thrusts, even if they are played out atm, with all the look-a-likes.

    15x4 & 15x7 stock steelies?

Only concern now is with the 4' back space on those 5th ave 15x7 I found.I got 275/60r15 's to go on the Duster, and I know the police rims 4.25" backspace will fit em on that body.IDK if that .25" will make a difference in fitment.

    15x4 & 15x7 stock steelies?

Sweet thanks for the insight. Made a makeshift measuring "device" before I headed out there so I could measure em a bit better then eyeballing it, or scrapping crap off the rims to read the markings.Simple 15.5" pieces of wood to set against the rims bead on both sides to measure width.Then...

    15x4 & 15x7 stock steelies?

Got some 185/65r15 on some draglites, but they are 3.5"(bought em years ago super cheap) Just dont like how they sit on the bead. Went back to the yard today and did what trunk searching I could. Most of the cars trunks were shut and no keys around to open em.They all had similiar rims like...

    15x4 & 15x7 stock steelies?

There is a 5th ave in the local yard, but has the bolted on wire-esque wheelcovers...leading it to be a 15x5.5. going to this site to look thru the models/years for rims: http://www.originalwheels.com/ Helps to some extent, but is also missleading. Wheel Part Number: #1140 1978-1980...
