Thanks for the info, Fenderman! That might be the way I'll go. Kinda hate to adapt to an adapter but the trans was just too good a deal to pass up. 12k miles, orig owner who knows how to drive and doesn't like tire smoke, 150.00 I had to! Well, back to overtime for more parts.

I have been looking aroung for a T5 but fell into a deal for a t45 out of a 99-00 Cobra. Any one know of any downfall to this trans? From my small search, seems to be stronger than the t5 but similair otherwise. Lookin' for your input. Kev

Every trans I've seen seems to be running 400-500. That was a great buy! I'll keep looking I guess. Maybe I'll buy it and sell it to a Chev guy to fund a a833.

I was just offered a Super T10 4speed trans at a good price. Is it possible to use this with my 340?? I'm guessing custom bellhousing at least? Or is this just a bad idea? Problem is Mopar stuff is kinda hard to find 'round here.
