    REFURBISHING BUCKET SEAT TRACKS

Be careful with the roller trolleys. Make note or take pics of how they come out. On a B body track, they are oriented in a specific way. I believe A body tracks are the same. The roller is not centered. If you put the trolleys in backwards, you will lose about 1.5 inches of forward/backward...

Cleaning over spray on the seats and dash pad.

I use Goo-Gone dozens of times during a given year to remove "permanent" marker, duct (and other) tape residue, and paint pen marks among other things. It works. Sometimes it takes multiple applications and sometimes letting it sit in a pool over the target area. I've even used it to...

Cleaning over spray on the seats and dash pad.

Goo-Gone is citrus based. The worst that will happen is that it will smell like orange juice concentrate for a few weeks.

What car did these seats come from?

They've been recovered but they look like 72-74 A/B/E buckets.

Can i use these 70 charger seats

You should be able to use 71-74 B/E tracks as well. IIRC the only difference is a slight variation in height. If "correct" Mopar tracks came with them, you should be good to go.

    Spirit seats

I got a real nice set of blue velour ones for either my 67 wagon or my 80 truck. Not really suited for either. I guess they are really a split bench as each seat has one, narrow fold up arm rest. In the wagon (Belvedere), to make them fit on center for the driver/passenger positions, it...

    Not found in Legendary

Valiant Brougham and Dart SE could have velour buckets, even in four door cars. IIRC they were only in limited colors- burgundy, tan, green come to mind. Can't see enough of the stitching and fit and finish to judge if the "herring bone" looks like a factory job. 90% of the time you can tell an...

Will these bucket seats work as cores for 71 Demon?

Except for the miss-matched color on the outside of the seat bottoms.....those look ready to bolt in and sit on. Heck, they even look soft to the touch.

Will these bucket seats work as cores for 71 Demon?

...and the tracks should work, too. E body is slightly lower then B, maybe an inch. Not sure about A vs B or A vs E though. ...but the bottom line is that A, B, and E tracks should all bolt in and work.
  18. YY1

Will these bucket seats work as cores for 71 Demon?

A, B and E are all the same. '70 is slightly different on the top part, and the release button area. but will bolt in the same. C is different.

Was there ever a "no radio installed" option?

All radios were options, although most cars had them.

Are these actually A body seats?

I'm pretty sure I've seen that pattern in a 75/76 Dart sport, but if they are velour, and I believe they are, they are Valiant Brougham/Dart SE. Those could also be had in 4 door cars. Do they tilt forward? The ones in 4 doors didn't but should be able to be modified to do so.

    66 A body vs 67 A body bucket seats

For B body cars (including Charger), the seat tracks are different. In 66 they are adjustable for height. For 67 they are not.

Not an A but still barely a Mopar...'12 Caravan lock actuator fail...

I've been through half a dozen actuators on my 2000 Dakota CC. Fingers crossed the last one has lasted several years. What's needed for stock steering wheel change?

Post 10 does not show a rim blow. Might help to post a pic of yours. 1-Pretty sure the rim blow has phillips screws on the back to remove the center. 2- Then remove the large nut. 3- Next use a puller to remove the wheel*. *Most parts store pullers may not have long enough bolts in the proper...

    challenger console and slap stick

E and 71-74 B body consoles are the same. IIRC the shifter mount between A, 66-70 B and the slaptick is also the same. What's different, is the bracket that bolts to the transmission (the one that most people forget to grab when removing console from a parts car). On a B that changes 66-70 and...
