I ended up using my brake lathe to do it worked well. They are still rubbing ever so slightly will fix next week. Probably will in the end will go to rear disk, when the money train rolls in.

I'm converting my Demon to LBP. My issue is drums I bought new drums to fit my 10 x 1.75 shoes. The new drums where for the wider brakes shoes. There was a thread a while back that they cut the drums down to fit I can't find the thread I am wondering what was Thanks Brian

I'm going to convert my newly aquired Dart Converitble to BBP and disc brakes up front. I want the best kit for my money. I used the SSBC kit on my Demon, because I wanted to keep the small bolt wheels. I don't want to stick a boat load of money in the Dart I just want a good quality driver...

It has both large and small bolt pattern studs, you have to remove the lbp studs.

I bought the ssbc set-up and installed it. Works great got it down in enough time to put it away for the winter.

I just did the ssbc conversion you have to use the 10' spindles. They are a heavier better built spindle. I love the conversion, it comes with both large and small bolt pattern. I wanted to keep my car sbp.

I think I might use the ssbc set up it seems to be what I'm looking for. Thanks for all the help.

I'm thinking about putting disc on my Demon. I'm not sure I want to convert it to lbp, but leave it sbp. What are my best choices to make the conversion and leave the bolt pattern alone. I even pondered with going with rear disc also.
