Thinking under .550 lift, under 250 duration @.050, with 110 or 112 (for EFI) centerline. The cam will recommend the springs to use. Should be over...

    I think it’s a good question. I think there’s potential in a cam swap.

Cam options for a 380hp 360 crate motor

Troy sold a ton of those at the old Westoaks Mopar Performance. He said they weren’t great down low, but made good peak numbers (marketing) for a low compression 9.0:1. Most people put them in cruiser type cars, but picked the 380HP because of the high HP number (marketing was right) But they...

    my 408 stroker

You mean Scat? What CC dish pistons? What was your measured static compression? What octane gas are you using with 36 deg total timing? Did you do any port or bowl cleanup to the heads?

402 ci magnum into a dart. oil pan sits low

The stroker will be fine with a 5 quart pan. It could run a stock 4 quart and be fine. MP put that ridiculously deep pan to get a few more Horsepower so they could advertise a certain number. That few horsepower will never be missed as you burn rubber trying to get your car to hook up on...

    stroker kit

A stroker is inexpensive and cost effective way to make HP and TQ if you are already rebuilding a motor. The torque is great for a seat of the pants "feel" on the street. And since the HP/TQ is made at a lower rpm, you can get away with inexpensive rocker/valvetrain gear like stock 273 or...

Best headers for magnum 360 into Demon?

TTI long tube or shorties or Dougs long tube. With TTI's, they have headpide and whole systems that will bolt on a fit well all they way to the tips. The headman shorties will take a bunch of work to make them fit in an A-body. Not something for someone short on time.

360 to stroker combo ...question on what kit

I got mine balanced from scat. Smooth to me. 5000-5800 lap after continuous lap at the track for me. OU812 (Brian) from IMMengines said he's checked SCAT kits and they had good balance for street strip motor under 500 hp. He could have charged me to have mine balanced and probably made more money.
