From my understanding all the ididit colums are a collapsible by design. Not like the factory but the internals are collapsible, the part that actually collapses is the part in the engine bay and the internal shafts. I would say call Ididit and talk to either Kelly or Scott. They can confirm...

Yes they had my 76 column and a 72 column to create it from. I had mine made tilt wheel floor shift but they can do a column shift as well. The one I took them was a column shift.

yours must have been the other column that was there with mine. They built both our columns at the same time.

James, Thank you I talked to Kellie today and they are about an hour and a half away from my place. I also have a friend that works there, I am going to try to drop off my steering column to them soon so they can see what they can offer.

I ordered mine though Mancini racing but I believe that they are made by AR engineering in oregon.

I just picked up a pair today at the mopar nats. My question is they did not identify which one was right and which one was left. The springs have a part number 1981 and 1982 on them. The website does not say which one is right and left...any way to tell? thank you

not sure on the swinger but it should be the same as on my dart sport. Sometimes you may have to push or pry the driveshaft a little forward to pop it out of the yoke then it will slide right out the back of the trans.

you might want to see if you can add some load lever bars to your trailer. I know guys that tow with them and sware by them. They say it makes it easier to tow with.
