    yes confirmed by the dealer through the performance catalog to be a 2015. He did look up the repair order and the motor has 43k miles on it. was in a police car and has a bad cam...

    LOL.. I wil ltry calling them and see what they say. This is for a future replacement for the 496 nitrous motor in my car. Plans are cam, lifters, rods and pistons with a 6.1 crank and use my fast system with this massive 96mm turbo I have. It will be studed with the good hellcat headgaskets..

    I was just given this motor. it was a warranty replacement as they said it had a bad camshaft. I have no idea of what year it may be. With it being a warranty covered engine I would think it is fairly new as it came out of one of our Police Cars.

    Well this car is back halfed with 14X32 under it.. Wouldn't the only problem be with swapping the heads is te location of the intake valve vs exhaust valve and that could be fixed with the valve reliefs?

    Ahh that gives me a good understanding. I will have twin 76mm to start with then work my way up. The bottom end on my motor is all forged with a 6.1 crank, h beam rods and forged 9.6 to 1 pistons. Should be around 20lbs of boost to start off with and work my way up from there.

    Yea it depends on the location of the motor. they may work they may not.. I had cooks longtube on my SRT8 Challenger and was very happy with it and it was not even close to being a race car. Yea supercharged with methanol injection but it was such a huge heavy boat it was not a race car to me...

    Not to be a smart *** but $700 for a great set of headers that fit is not a bad deal. How much did you throw at the 2018 motor and you will spend twice the money of the headers for a harness and ecu.

    I want to relocate the coils out of site.. I can put them on the firewall inside if need be. So no factory harness at all and get the msd setup? I am looking at an 04 motor.

    If I am planning on running a late model 5.7 with 2 carbs what of the original wire harness do I need or do I need any of it. I know I don't want the fi stuff at all. The less trouble the better. No turbos or anything like that.. Just a good cam and headers.
