    A833 adapter pattern

The 9.5 is more for the tunnel so you don't have to hack it up. We got a weird Charger over here which a combo of a Demon front with a Duster rear but it came, as most of the SA Vals, with a slant 6 or 383. There was a special VH770 e37 here brought in by Chrysler South Africa but it blew the...

    A833 adapter pattern

Possibly. You need cast #2806081 or #2465523 bell housings for a 9.5" clutch generally for the Hemi 265.

Hi Chris, Haven't got round to it yet but going with a 273 SB bell housing instead and will weld on the bottom ears for the dowels and holes. Much better option i think.

    FLEXPLATE TO FLYWHEEL CONVERSION

This is exactly what I was thinking. They're meant to bend to accommodate the movement of the torque converter. Guy must be smoking crack! Thanks!

    FLEXPLATE TO FLYWHEEL CONVERSION

Hi guys, I saw a post where a trans shop said they sometimes convert flex plates to accept a clutch. His reasoning was that the flex plate is lighter than a flywheel and can support 500-1000hp on his conversions. Anyone have any knowledge of this kind of conversion? Thanks

    A833 adapter pattern

Hi, I'm trying to find if anyone has a diagram of the A833 mounting face pattern?? I know the bearing retrainer rings are different sizes, that's ok as long as I get a centreline. Something like this but I need exact measurements to make an adapter for an Aussie Hemi 265 bellhousing...

OK so I'm just misunderstanding because everybody has been "the 2.66 is the box to have". AJ I messaged you but didn't see that you'd replied here. The info I got was that I'll have to rev to 6500rpm and change to second and it will be only be around 2100rpm. Sounds like it's going to lag...

Hi everyone, I purchased a B-Body A833 and have mated it to an A-body tail with tailshaft I was under the impression that B-body late 60's 4 speeds were 2.66 ratio but I checked Brewers images and my cluster gear has a single groove denoting 3.09 is this definite? Can I check the teeth? The...

Hey everyone, I recently had my '69 B-body 23 spline box mated to a '65 tail housing So I now have a spare B-Body tail and tail shaft. As I live in South Africa and no one has these boxes I'm wondering if they're worth anything and if it's worth my time trying to sell them and ship.... Any...
