**Summit Fast 5 vs Jegs Sport Star**

I have the sport lites and there is plenty of clearance for my disc brakes. I just checked my 15x7's and the the id towards the top is 14'' then about 2 inches in it starts to taper down to just over 13". I honestly though wouldn't use them for the rear of any high hp/tq track setup. They seems...

    Longer wheel studs?

Looked in the dorman catalog and they show the original number as being a 610-130. .565 knurl, 1-1/16 shoulder length and a total length of "2. Couldn't find anything longer with the knurl up high on the shoulder from dorman. As stated by others it seems like something is not seated fully though.

    opinions please

I agree with Scott, take a look at the summit or jegs branded wheels. I have had a set of the Quick-8's on my car for the last couple years and I like them.

    Opinion '64 dart wheels

Yeah yours is one I have been looking at. Also luckily Dart4forte has them on his white '64 so I know exactly what it would look like. I think I could still do the big and little tire look for street/drag look Im always after.

    Opinion '64 dart wheels

I am thinking of getting another set of wheels for my '64 Dart but I don't know what would look better, rallye wheels or stock steels with the small hubcaps. I still plan on keeping my Draglite look-a-likes but I like the idea of being able to change things up a bit. I have seen a couple early...

    15x4's street?

The wagon looks sweet with that wheels and tire combo slantscamp. I like the idea of the easy turning too since I have the flaming river 16:1 manual box. its not that bad but I can see how everyday it could start to be a real pain parking and u-turns.

    15x4's street?

same problem here, my wheels only come 15x4 then jump to 15x7. I looked online at 185/65r15's but I'm not sure how well the sidewall bulge would be. seems quite a few guys run the 165's. thanks.

    15x4's street?

What combo are you guys running for the front of your early -a- bodies? I have the generic jegs/summit draglite knockoffs on my '64 and have been running 15x7's all around with low profiles on the front. problem is that even with them the offset is a bit too wide. I was thinking of ordering the...

anybody here use the summit racing wheels?

most of your stock wheels like steel ones use a tapered seat lug nut that centers itself like a wheel bearing seating against its race but mag wheel lugs are like a "T" and go into the wheel quite a bit. mags are also the ones that typically have a washer on them. i have owned a few sets of...

anybody here use the summit racing wheels?

i have a set of the ones that look like the draglites on my 64 dart. they work and look great! they use a tapered seat lug nut instead of a mag style like real draglites. not sure who makes them but they balanced well and are very straight and well machined. plus i think not having the multi lug...
