Do you have a pic for us of how the spring is hooked up?

I do that with everything I install and was taught that in High School auto shop back in the early 80`s. Usually every time I do it around someone new they are amazed how well it works.

Ford mounted coils Horizontal and all of my old farm tractors are vertical but tower pointing down so this may be true on the newer coils but not on the old ones.

Price it at the high side of what you are thinking. You can always come down but cant go up.

I have sold many years ago to replace with another and had a hard time letting go. In the last 15 years I have sold complete or nearly complete for financial reasons. Now I have 20 project cars and will probably never finish even 1/2 of them. It is all up to you to know when to let go.

Remember these cars made many trips like this for years. It should happen without alot of troubles. Watch the youtube channel visegripgarage and you will see he has recently taken cars that have sit for 20 years in a field for hundreds of miles after getting them fired up.

Yup heat and cool are your friend with bearings and bushings. I have a 2 burner hot plate and pan from when I did heavy truck transmissions and keep spring pin bushings in the freezer at work for when I need them.
