thanks for all the info. This motor came with a edelbrock performer intake and my 318 has the edelbrock LD4B. Which of these intake manifolds is a better performer?

I forgot to mention the 318 came out of the dart.

I have a line on a 360 out of a 1974 ramcharger. Is this a good start? are the heads on it good for building any power. I dont know a whole lot about this motor but as information comes avalible I will fill you guys all in. thank you.

350ish the majority of my money would be going into a 8 3/4 rear end and a 3500 stall convertor for a 408 in febuary of 2013. i want to be able to drive the car spring and summer of 2012 and have allitle fun.

if your casting numbers are 2843675 its 273 V8. i just discovered thats what mine are.

273 V8 number 2843675 on a .30 318 stock but want to build up til I can save up for a MP crate. Are these heads going to really restrict any power gains? The build would include new pistons and rings thats it. maybe going .40 over. very new to this so any and all info would be nice.

I have a 3 next to my spark plug hole as well and mine are stock 318 heads as far as I know. but if someone knows otherwise I would like to know too.

Quick question on tti and dougs headers does the tie rod run threw the pipes like it does on say a hedman?

the driver side was the worst and the driver side header scraped and has a hole in it and i dont know how long the previos owner drove it like that

should i take my heads off or would breaking it up and scraping it out work?

I pulled my intake manifold off today and discovered that the the center small hole is completly clogged with a hard residue that looks like tar. it was clogging my heads and most of the center port on the intake. does anyone know what this is caused by and what I need to do?
