    bleeding new wheel cylinders

    they make really nice hand vacuum pump that works grate. Its got a little reservoir on it to catch the fluid. Its really a handy gadget and is good for lots of other things. I got mine at TIP. Harbor freight probably has them to.

    you could use b body 10 x2.5 if you get the matching backing plates. if you want small bolt pattern you can re drill them

    the master cylinder for disk brakes has a larger reservor for the disk side. i did not change the proportioning valve or put in a regulator and it doesnt seam out of balance at all. im very happy with the product.

    mild steel is around 70000.00 pounds per square inch tensel strength. and considering the area of the adapters they are more than adequate to do the job.harder steel is not nesecarily better for that application harder is more britel. mild steel is the right steel for that application

    I mounted the scarebirds on the rear.i am doing the bbp swap on my 69' you still have the rear brakes to deal with after you buy the axels either drill your small drums or find b body stuff. i went b body brakes and when it was all over spent a lot of money to do it but thats what i wanted.

    with the scarbird route i just bought the adaptor brackets from them. then they give you a list of what parts to buy from anywhere you want.(rock auto is my currant favorite(i did not put on a regulator or change the distribution block)You can spike the brakes as hard as you want and it brakes...

    I used scarebird clasic brakes adapters to put cheap chevy disk parts on. total cost with all new parts < 300$. Only problem stayed with small bolt patern. They work grate.
