I think that's the long version of the OD......if I'm not mistaken, you'd need a custom driveline. Not 100% sure about the shifter location either, but I think those have "both" locations for the 3-bolt shifter mounting flange too. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I'd do it! Gotta have...

Yes, definitely......my old '67 Barracuda convertible did. Even had the suspension and disc brakes.

I would do carpet, new original style seat covers, door panels, then maybe headers/true dual exhaust, and some bigger tires on some 14 X 5.5 rims.....and maybe a fresh windshield unless yours is great already. I can't stand sand-pitted windshields. I dunno if that equals $2013.00...

It's gonna be a slip-n-slide stinky mess. Make sure you stab it just right so you'll be able to get a good turn out of it before you hit the frame rail or floor....whatever. Probably still a good chance you'll just start ripping that filter's sheetmetal as you turn it. Hopefully not. Yeah...

At my work, the huge Channel-locks is the trick. Grab it down at the bottom where it's a little less likely to crush (if you haven't crushed it already). If it's already crushing, just make the Channel-locks smaller and man handle that sucka.

Well, for me....I would get rid of the 13" wheels/tires (and go 15") as soon as they're worn out, then add an electronic ignition setup from MP and maybe even play with the carb, just to make sure it's running as efficiently as possible, but that's me. When you tuned it, did you change the plug...

Naw, that wasn't heat. The tank seeped a little gas out and bubbled the paint off. You can see gas stains/bubbling in the pics. No biggie really. Sometimes the rubber seal there will not work well if it's old or the car's been sitting and the seal dries out. Change 'er out!

Does your engine now have an ORIGINAL style Carter AFB 4-barrel carb? The original commando base will only fit an early AFB carb (because it's smaller) and NOT the later, and slightly larger AFB and Holley circles.

Would a rack and pinion setup be feasible?......they don't seem too expensive. I was thinking about it for my '68 Dart, just mount it to the K-member with some large studs, so I could run a 440 with some beautiful headers.

I vote "NO" mostly because in my opinion....(from experience) time is precious. And that is a daunting task, changing out frame rails?!! I think for the average person, you'd have to be TOTALLY dedicated to that car.....maybe like it was your first car or something super rare. We've all...

It's a pretty rare bird.....and desirable too. I think it just depends on how bad the body is......how much $$ it will need to bring it back vs. how much nice ones are selling for.......you don't wanna find yourself "upside down" on it. At least I don't. Things are a little weird right now...

Looks like it's got the wider wheels. Take a closer look at the structure for death rust......might be a good donor car. (BTW, my cuda came with every option to make it a Formula S (I believe) but it's not actually a Formula S.....maybe this one too?) If it's not even structurally...
