The springs segments need to be able to move independently to work correctly. 45 is right.Probably why they are fine thread. I,d use lockwashers and threadlocker if youre worried.

Check the bottom of your collumn. The power steering collumn is longer. Someone may have added the extension adapter. If so just remove it and go back to the factory coupler.

Could you flip the front hangers?

Been a long time but I believe theres a pin on the lock cilinder thats visible when you turn the key to the on position. push it in and the lock cilinder will come out.

Just hit the schraeder valve and let some air out.sounds like you dont have air line extensions hooked up.

Air shocks are ok if you dont run them hard. Too much air. And I think you mean leaf springsunless someone has done a conversion.

I mounted mine on a ramcharger chassis. to center the front wheels in the fenders the motor sets back in the cab about 3 inches. I got to make a firewall hump.

Bingo. Now there are longer hangers for using ss springs on a b body. SS springs have a body length front segments. You could use those and move the rear shackles to shift it 2 inches back or redrill the hangers for 1 inch.

One fender is shimmed higher than the other. Torsion bar or spring adjustments gonna change both reference points. front end may be tweaked.

I liked the stud idea. pull the box screw in the stud and tack weld it in where the box hides it.
