    Noise from a 3.55 gear 8.75

    I get a howl out of my SG 741 3.91 s. It's louder on acceleration and quiets on deceleration. The gear teeth contact are within specs. Probably a pinion bearing.

    Pilot Bearing

    We made a major FUPA on my 273 and forgot to drill out the crank for the pilot bearing. Since it's all together now does anyone have the NAPA part number or another source for the proper pilot bearing? I was told on another site you can use a PD from a Dodge Dakota? Thanks
